About Us
Our Mission
The Equine Fund is a non-profit
organization devoted to preventing the abuse of horses. We passionately communicate
with and educate the public in the hope that the more people know about horses,
the less likely they are to hurt or harm them. Our overall goal is to reach
as many people as possible to educate and inform them in creative ways to open
their minds and hearts to horses.
Our Work
TEF does not physically rescue
horses, nor do we find them homes, yet we work to appeal to the public in a
deep and meaningful manner to help horses before they need to be saved, rehabilitated
or adopted. Our ongoing work focuses on events, gatherings and education through
the use of media for all people who may find themselves, someday, responsible
for the life of a horse.
Our Vision
The Equine Fund hopes to affect
the thoughts and actions of anyone who comes in contact with or cares for a
horse to encourage them act with compassion, knowledge, and respect. We will
work to offer free educational opportunities and creative communication to help
the public take a positive, healthy and responsible approach to caring for horses.
